Our story begins in Achromatic Chronicles: Blue and our young inquisitive protagonist, Jon, who, despite living in the Gray World where everyone strives to be the exact same, Jon cannot suppress his curious nature. He asks so many questions he is dubbed “Question Boy,” and the only person in his world who lets Jon be himself is his best friend, Fortuna. When Fortuna disappears one day and her dad appears upset, Jon takes it upon himself to find her. He searches for her in the woods they both love to explore and meets a new friend, Blue, an animated, floating, talking ball of color! He is waiting for a friend who was supposed to meet up with him who never arrived, so they join forces to find them together! In return for his help and discretion, Blue promises to take Jon to visit his secret world, The Color World!
But where is Fortuna? The Chromatic Chronicles: Green is her story! Fortuna always worked hard to be perfect and follow the rules and restrictions of the Gray World, but her friendship with Jon is making her have questions of her own. Like, what happened to her mother? One day, she was different, and the next day, she was gone without a trace, and, what’s worse, Fortuna’s father refused to tell her what had happened to her. When Fortuna discovers the talking, lady-voiced ball of color, Green, in the woods, she sets off on an incredible journey of self-discovery, human dignity, individuality, and hope.
