Creator
Michael Malice is an author, commentator, and podcaster recognized for his sharp humor and uncompromising interest in power, ideology, and the myths societies build about themselves. He is also the subject of the graphic novel Ego & Hubris: the Michael Malice Story, by the late Harvey Pekar of American Splendor fame--the first time Pekar wrote a book about someone other than himself. Malice is honored to carry on the tradition Pekar began with his slice-of-life comics. As Pekar famously said, "Ordinary life is pretty complex stuff."
Works
Malice is the author of Dear Reader: The Unauthorized Autobiography of Kim Jong Il, The New Right, The Anarchist Handbook, and The White Pill, along with numerous collaborations with public figures across entertainment, sports, and media. His body of work ranges from political examination to cultural critique, unified by an interest in how stories are constructed, sold, and remembered.
